Always remove the battery before washing the underwear. Use a mild detergent without fabric softener and hand-wash whenever possible. If you use the washing machine, select a delicate cycle at 30°C with minimal spinning. Avoid tumble drying, bleach or dry cleaning, and do not twist the clothes to avoid damaging the heating systems.

Unplug the batteries after use and store them in a dry place at room temperature. Keep the batteries charged at all times and recharge them every 3 to 4 months to prolong their life, even during the summer months.
